Ireland had to withstand a spirited finish from Italy before holding on to secure their first win in this season’s U-20 Six Nations after a highly entertaining clash in Virgin Media Park.
But they did enough to secure a bonus-point win against an Italian side who pushed them all the way and who deservedly left Cork with a couple of bonus points of their own.
