Emergency services are currently at the scene of a crash at Burt, on the main Letterkenny to Derry road.

The incident, between a car and a van, is believed to have occurred outside St. Aengus Church (Burt Chapel) at around 4pm.

A number of people have been taken to hospital, however, it is believed their injuries are not life threatening.

It is understood the road was closed for a time, but has since reopened.
