Over a thousand extra college places for healthcare courses are being created.
The 28.5 million euro investment by Government will fund more than one thousand 100 additional places.
It’s aimed at easing pressure on high-demand courses and reducing the number of students travelling abroad to study.
The new places will be shared across colleges nationwide.
