The Taoiseach had said the Government is very mindful that “significant revenues” are coming from a small number of international corporations, which “simply isn’t sustainable”.
Speaking at Apple Headquarters in Cork, where the American tech giant announced the construction of a brand-new building on its sizeable campus, as well as plans to open a new Dublin office to complement the European HQ on Leeside, Micheál Martin also said he has concerns for the competitiveness of Europe, and therefore Ireland, to continue to attract large corporations into the country.
