A dog owner has been arrested and charged after she callously dumped her dog at an airport terminal because he was an ‘inconvenience’ to her travel plans.
Germiran Bryson, 26, reportedly tied her two-year-old Goldendoodle to a baggage sizer at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas and walked away without looking back.
Bryson’s cruel neglect of her loyal puppy has sparked a tidal wave of ire from animal lovers around the globe, as video of her emerged swanning on while her defenceless canine looked on.

The dog, who has since been aptly renamed Jet Blue (after the airport terminal in question), was left trembling and alone in the middle of the bustling terminal.
Heartbreaking surveillance footage captured the moment the dog watched his owner disappear into the crowd, his tail tucked between his legs as he waited for her to come and retrieve him.
The drama unfolded at the JetBlue check-in desk, where Bryson attempted to board a flight with the dog, claiming he was a service animal.

However, when staff informed her she hadn’t filled out the correct paperwork, the 26-year-old allegedly decided that her flight was more important.
Rather than calling a friend or missing her flight to ensure the dog’s safety, police say Bryson callously tethered the pet to a metal railing and headed straight for security.
When police finally tracked her down at the boarding gate, the woman showed a chilling lack of remorse.

In a bizarre attempt to justify her cruelty, she reportedly told officers that the dog had a ‘tracking device’ on him, in efforts to excuse her reprehensible behaviour.
As officers moved in to arrest her, Bryson reportedly became combative and resisted the police, leading to charges of animal abandonment and resisting an officer.
While Bryson was hauled off to the nearest jail cell, the dog had a happy ending.

After ten days in a local shelter, the Goldendoodle was given sanctuary by the Retriever Rescue of Las Vegas.
Rescuers at the animal shelter have since said that despite the ‘heartbreak’ of being dumped by the only person he knew, the pup is ‘affectionate, gentle, and incredibly social.’ He is now in a loving foster home, waiting for a ‘forever family’ who will give return the loyalty and love that his previous owner so obviously lacked.
Bryson, for her part, has become a social media pariah and is facing charges by the Las Vegas Police Department.
