At an Alan Cumming party, everyone leaves with snacks – even the Hollywood superstars. In the Official Alan Cumming Snack Basket at this year’s EE Bafta Film Awards is a variety of traditional salty and sugary goods, the kind we take for granted around these parts. The kind that, say, two-time Oscar winner Emma Stone has never heard of.
“Do you know what a Hula Hoop is?” Cumming asks Ms Stone, as he makes his way through the auditorium. She doesn’t, but our playful host will soon change that. He’s brought a bag of Skips for Stormzy (they’re his favourite), Scampi Fries for Timothée Chalamet (the Marty Supreme actor will deliver his verdict soon, I’m sure) and biscuits for Chalamet’s partner, reality TV star Kylie Jenner (“Have you ever had your gums around a giant Jammy Dodger?”).
