This steamy drama just dropped a spicy update.

The hit hockey drama ‘Heated Rivalry’ is officially returning for a second season and we have all the latest details.

Showrunner Jacob Tierney confirmed the renewal, revealing the creative team is currently writing the script with plans to begin filming this August.

The series, based on the ‘Game Changer’ novels by Rachel Reid, follows a secret romance between two professional icy hockey players, played by breakout stars Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie.

HBO previously confirmed the series would return for Season 2 via an Instagram post in December 2025.

The six-part drama is available to watch in Ireland on Sky and streaming service NOW.

Season 2 is expected to air in 2027.
