The father of the man who shot and killed his wife and two children in Maguiresbridge, Co Fermanagh, last year has been charged with not properly securing a firearm a day before the killings.
Ian Rutledge is thought to have used a legally-held shotgun to kill his wife, Vanessa Whyte (45) and their two children James Rutledge (14) and Sara Rutledge (13), before taking his own life in July 2025.
