A man who denies the murder of a mother of two found with catastrophic stab injuries in a burning apartment told gardaí he was “replaying a nightmare” after the death of his “soul mate” and “best friend”.
Adam Corcoran (31) has pleaded not guilty to the murder of Daena Walsh (27) who was found with horrific injuries in their Cork flat that included “a gaping wound” to her chest, a slit throat and a partially amputated left arm.
