Daniel O’Donnell and his wife, Majella, are to turn back the clock on their fashion and frolics in an exciting new venture at Newbridge Silverware.

The exhibit, titled ‘Daniel and Majella O’Donnell — Music, Style and Memories,’ will offer visitors a unique glimpse into the careers of Daniel and Majella, showcasing a carefully curated collection of stage costumes and personal memorabilia, including their wedding outfits.

Many of the items have already featured at the Daniel O’Donnell Visitor Centre in Dungloe which unfortunately closed in April 2019 after seven years in operation.

The free-to-enter exhibition will open on April 22, with Daniel and Majella themselves set to open the exhibit in person, where they’ll meet fans.

A special highlight of the exhibition will be the elegant outfits worn by Daniel and Majella on their wedding day, which occurred in November 2002 at St Mary’s Church in Kincasslagh, Co Donegal.

“It’s a great privilege to have this exhibition at the Museum of Style Icons at Newbridge Silverware,’ Daniel said.

“Many of the outfits and items in the exhibition hold very special memories for me, so it’s lovely to see them brought together in one place. I’m delighted that fans will have the chance to visit and hopefully enjoy looking back at some of those moments with us.”

Daniel and Majella will be in the Showrooms at Newbridge Silverware on April 22 from 11 am to 12.30 pm, with all fans welcome to meet the couple.
