The farmhouse is in need of a complete overhaul
This substantial but neglected farmhouse at Drumgoney, Co Cavan was once the house in the parish, according to auctioneer Charles Clerkin who is now selling the farmhouse, yard and a substantial 91 acres of land in the heart of Cavan’s drumlin country.
And while the last owner passed peacefully to her maker over 30 years ago (sitting outside in the sun reading The Messenger, by all accounts), the land has been leased to local farmers since, but the decision has now been taken to sell.
