Last Sunday’s original fixture was postponed due to a bereavement with the rescheduled following the death of Benny Kiely, father of Waterford corner forward Michael Kiely.
Today’s tie is Waterford’s final outing as they host All-Ireland champions Tipperary.
Peter Queally’s men are aiming to avoid a swift return to Division 1B and they’ll be looking for favours elsewhere if they lose today.
Having suffered two defeats, Tipp aren’t safe from the drop yet either and they’ll be keen to push up the table ahead of a round seven meeting with neighbours Kilkenny.
