Waterford are back down to the Allianz Division 1B of the hurling league after a four-point defeat in Azzuri Walsh Park.
With all six games played, Waterford can’t improve on their four-point haul that currently has them level with Kilkenny. But with the head-to-head insulating Kilkenny from their UPMC Nowlan Park win earlier in the month, Waterford’s fate has been sealed.
