“The normalisation of war can never be accepted,” President Catherine Connolly has said in her first St Patrick’s Day address to the nation, as Taoiseach Micheál Martin prepares to meet US president Donald Trump in Washington.
In her message, President Connolly focused on the rejection of war and the experience of migrants.
