Saraid Hartnett from Newbridge has been crowned the winner of Ireland’s Favourite Child – taking home an incredible €10,000 euro in ALDI gift cards.
The feel-good competition called on people nationwide to nominate themselves or a sibling and prove they were the true ‘golden child’ at home.
1000’s of entries poured in from every county, celebrating the meaningful gestures that make Irish Mams proud.
Speaking about her new title Saraid said:
“I’m absolutely delighted to be crowned Ireland’s Favourite Child, and I definintely some bragging rights at home now. My mam does so much for me every day, so it means the world to be able to give something back and treat her this Mother’s Day”.
