The foodie couple behind Taste of Italy in Arklow have revealed how their superstitious natures and memories of searching for four-leaf shamrocks — something every Italian “knows will bring luck” — led them to choose St Patrick’s Day to open their dream café/bistro.
It’s been three years since Marta and Marco Sacchi planted their flag on Arklow’s culinary map, using experience gained over decades running a successful restaurant in the city of Parma to establish a quaint coffee shop along Arklow’s River Walk.
