Coronation Street spoilers follow from Tuesday’s episode (17 March), which is available to watch now on ITVX and YouTube but hasn’t aired on ITV1 yet.

Coronation Street’s Leanne Battersby, Toyah Battersby and Eva Price unite in dramatic circumstances tonight as they vow to prove Megan Walsh’s guilt and send her to jail.

The trio clearly mean business as Megan desperately tries to avoid being charged for grooming Will Driscoll – and with the stakes so high, it’s going to be a difficult battle ahead.

Tuesday’s episode sees concerned stepmum Leanne question Sam Blakeman over the tense conversation she witnessed between him and Megan at the hospital.

Finally conceding that it wasn’t just his exams that were bothering him, Sam shares his knowledge of the inappropriate relationship between Megan and Will.

Eva is present for Sam’s revelations and initially doubts his claims, suggesting that he must be mistaken. However, loyal Leanne knows that Sam is a reliable witness and vows to take care of the situation herself.

Back at The Rovers, Leanne, Eva and Toyah confront Megan in the pub’s back room. She immediately spins a false story, claiming that she discovered Will had a crush on her and rejected his advances.

Although Megan admits that she spoke to Sam harshly, she insists that the brainy schoolboy had the wrong end of the stick.

As Megan heads out, sceptical Toyah asks whether Eva believes her story. “Not a flaming word,” the Rovers landlady replies.

Aware that it’s only a matter of time before the walls close in, Megan consults with Will and insists that she needs to get away sooner rather than later.

Smitten Will insists on coming with her – making it clear that they now come as a pair.

“She can’t wriggle out of this – she needs locking up,” Leanne says.

“She will be…” Eva replies.

Will things go as Eva hopes?
