New accounts filed by Lidoc Experiences Ltd show that the post-tax profits of €928,306 in the 12 months to the end of August last year followed post-tax profits of €332,931 in the previous year.
The take for 2025 resulted in the company having accumulated profits of €1.39m at the end of last August.
The firm’s cash funds surged from €46,227 to €1.25m.
Underlining the company’s expansion during 2025 – which coincided with the continued explosion in popularity of sauna use around Ireland – the book value of the company’s property, plant and equipment rose from €563,597 to €1.4m. Numbers employed increased from 19 to 35. Pay to directors rose from €192,150 to €332,160.
The main activities of the company involves providing outdoor leisure experiences including hot-box saunas and hot tubs.
The profit last year takes into account non-cash depreciation costs of €227,552 compared with depreciation costs of €93,163 for the previous year.
Earlier this month, Dublin City Council granted planning permission to the company for planning retention for five saunas and three plunge pools as part of a Hot Box Sauna unit at Unit 5, Goldenbridge Industrial Estate, Tyrconnell Road, Inchicore, Dublin 8.

The council granted planning permission after a wave of support from users of the sauna facility.
The firm also has a planning retention application before Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council for its sauna operation adjacent to Killiney beach.
Last year, the sauna operators opened its flagship operation at the Google Ireland-owned Hot Box Sauna Bolands Mills in Dublin’s Docklands as part of a €2m investment.
The Hot Box Sauna now operates from eight sites around the country and includes counties Cork, Meath and Sligo outside the capital.

In an interview last year, co-founder Dan O’Connor said: “Our model is scalable, our brand is strong, and the demand is global. We’re ambitious and we want to see The Hot Box become a name synonymous with world-class sauna experiences, whether you’re in Dublin, Los Angeles, or anywhere in between.”
The Hot Box Sauna was co-founded by Mr O’Connor and his friends, Luke Williams and Liam Irwin, in 2021 as a self-built sauna trailer in Co Meath.
