Melissa Auf der Maur has little interest in the usual rock’n’roll tell-all. Her memoir is not one that settles scores or provides a catalogue of excess, as per so many rock bios.
Nor is the former Hole and Smashing Pumpkins bassist motivated by simply telling a neat tale of going from obscurity to fame.
