Representatives of Kerry County Council have met with senior executives from Tourism Ireland.

The three-person delegation was in New York this week for the St Patrick’s Day period.

Tourism Ireland says the group was briefed on the major programme of media, travel trade, and consumer promotions already under way, promoting travel to Ireland from the United States.

The delegation comprised the Cathaoirleach of Kerry County Council, councillor Michael Foley; the director of services, Bridget Fitzgerald; and the director of finance, Angela McAllen.
