Nina Dobrev is all in favor of canceled plans, and she has the outfit to prove it. On March 20, the actress posted a skit to Instagram illustrating her excitement over an imaginary canceled girls’ night. The relatable video begins with Dobrev on the phone as she goes to leave the house in an oversized leather jacket. “Oh, it’s canceled? Darn, I was so looking forward to seeing everybody,” Dobrev says with playful sarcasm as she shuts the door and promptly peels off her jacket, revealing black pants and a sheer lace top layered over a black bra. “It literally sounded like it would be so much fun,” she adds.
The next clip shows Dobrev—still nodding along on the phone—walking through her house as she slips into a white robe with poplin finishes. “I know, this really sucks,” she says into her phone as she hugs the robe around herself and beelines for the kitchen.

After taking off her pointed-toe pumps and placing them on the counter, the actress wastes no time serving herself a glass of wine. Seconds later, she’s lounging on the couch alongside her dog. Her accessories of choice for the lax evening includeda remote control, a bowl of popcorn, and fuzzy bubblegum-pink house slippers. The final clip shows Dobrev tossing her phone aside and letting out a celebratory, “Yes!” before settling in for a comfy, yet stylish, evening.

Of course, as tempting as canceled plans may be, Dobrev also knows how to deliver a high-fashion moment when she’s in the mood. On March 10, she was spotted in head-to-toe Miu Miu at Paris Fashion Week. While attending the luxury fashion brand’s womenswear fall/winter 2026-2027 show at Palais d’Iena, Dobrev posed for the cameras in a cropped leather bomber jacket layered over a maroon sweater vest and a white poplin top.
The bottom of her outfit featured a matching brown leather miniskirt paired with light blue bikini briefs peeking out above the waist. Dobrev styled the look with lighter shades of leather, including a pair of scrunched leather booties and a hazelnut brown handbag.

Earlier this month, Dobrev served up two more memorable ensembles at Paris Fashion Week. The first look featured a Miu Miu cashmere polo shirt in stone gray paired with flared jeans and a black Balenciaga wool coat. She completed the outfit with Chanel cap-toe pumps and a Chloé paddington bag in ivory with gold finishes. The second look featured a high-collared little black dress paired with black rectangle sunglasses, sheer patterned tights, and peep-toe heels.
It’s clear that, whether she’s attending extravagant fashion affairs or lounging at home, Dobrev understands the assignment.
