Presenter capitalises on vacant pitch to take on new ‘conversational’ political programme

A decision by RTÉ to axe its Monday night prime-time current affairs programme cleared the way for a new show on Virgin Media Television, journalist Gavan Reilly has said.
The reporter, who will present the new current affairs series Monday with Gavan Reilly, hopes it will be “a long-term fixture” on the schedules. It starts tomorrow night at 10pm.
