Two men have been charged after cocaine and cannabis worth a combined €2.75 million was seized in Dublin on Friday.

As part of ongoing investigations targeting organised crime under Operation Tara, the Dublin Crime Response Team searched two properties in the Coolock and Finglas areas of Dublin on March 20.

During the course of the operation, Gardaí seized 38kg of suspected cocaine with an estimated street value of €2,660,000 at a business premises in Coolock.

Two males (aged in their 20s and 30s) were arrested and detained at station in the Dublin Metropolitan Region under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007.

Both men are due to appear before Court 4, Criminal Courts of Justice tomorrow morning.
