Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has set the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the determined rates, the value of the US Dollar, UK Pound Sterling, and Swiss Franc has increased today. The US Dollar, which has been steadily rising, has been set with a buying rate of 150.07 rupees and a selling rate of 150.67 rupees.
Similarly, the buying rate for one European Euro has been set at 173.53 rupees and the selling rate at 174.23 rupees; for one UK Pound Sterling, the buying rate is 200.50 rupees and the selling rate is 201.30 rupees; and for one Swiss Franc, the buying rate is 190.25 rupees and the selling rate is 191.01 rupees.
The buying rate for one Australian Dollar is set at 104.85 rupees and the selling rate at 105.27 rupees; for one Canadian Dollar, the buying rate is 109.25 rupees and the selling rate is 109.69 rupees; and for one Singapore Dollar, the buying rate is 117.39 rupees and the selling rate is 117.86 rupees.
For 10 Japanese Yen, the buying rate is 9.45 rupees and the selling rate is 9.49 rupees; for one Chinese Yuan, the buying rate is 21.78 rupees and the selling rate is 21.86 rupees; for one Saudi Arabian Riyal, the buying rate is 39.97 rupees and the selling rate is 40.13 rupees; and for one Qatari Riyal, the buying rate is 41.06 rupees and the selling rate is 41.22 rupees.
According to the central bank, the buying rate for one Thai Baht is 4.62 rupees and the selling rate is 4.64 rupees; for one UAE Dirham, the buying rate is 40.86 rupees and the selling rate is 41.02 rupees; for one Malaysian Ringgit, the buying rate is 38.09 rupees and the selling rate is 38.25 rupees; for 100 South Korean Won, the buying rate is 10.06 rupees and the selling rate is 10.10 rupees; for one Swedish Kroner, the buying rate is 15.99 rupees and the selling rate is 16.06 rupees; and for one Danish Kroner, the buying rate is 23.22 rupees and the selling rate is 23.32 rupees.
The central bank has set the buying rate for one Hong Kong Dollar at 19.16 rupees and the selling rate at 19.24 rupees; for one Kuwaiti Dinar, the buying rate is 489.47 rupees and the selling rate is 491.42 rupees; for one Bahraini Dinar, the buying rate is 397.48 rupees and the selling rate is 399.07 rupees; and for one Omani Rial, the buying rate is 389.79 rupees and the selling rate is 391.35 rupees. Furthermore, for 100 Indian Rupees, the buying rate is set at 160 rupees and the selling rate at 160.15 rupees.
The central bank stated that this exchange rate can be revised at any time as needed. It was also mentioned that the exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ, and the updated rates will be available on the central bank’s website.
