‘Fantastic outcome’ following fast action by Bundoran firefighter 

A Bundoran firefighter has been praised for their lifesaving actions in the town yesterday.

They came to the rescue of a person following a medical emergency on Tullan Strand Road.

“Great work by one of our EFR Firefighters who initiated early CPR at an incident on Tullan Strand Road yesterday,” Bundoran Fire and Rescue Service posted on their Facebook page. 

“Thanks also to the rapid response from our colleagues in the National Ambulance Service (NAS) — teamwork at its very best. A fantastic outcome, and we wish the person involved a full and speedy recovery.”
