Gaming studio Starbreeze has announced that Payday: Aces High is currently under development as a VR title in collaboration with Fast Travel Games.
The game is scheduled for a 2026 release on Meta Quest and SteamVR, as part of the company’s strategy to expand the franchise through licensing partnerships.
The title is a cooperative heist game for up to four players, built specifically for virtual reality. According to the company, this initiative aims to strengthen the Payday brand and reach more platforms and players globally. No financial details regarding the venture were disclosed.
