Although spring has officially arrived on the calendar, there’s still a noticeable nip in the air, making a cosy layer a must-have for our spring collections. Good news for Next customers – this grey ribbed longline V-neck jumper with wool has been reduced from €45 to €17.50.

The light pink and bright green shades have been reduced to €18.50, although sizes are very limited.

The jumper features a ribbed knit design and a v-neck for extra style, and has earned a 4.2 out of 5 rating in customer reviews. It’s crafted with wool and features a longline hem, making it ideal when paired with relaxed jeans and trainers.

On the Next website, the complete product description states: “Brighten up your cold-weather wardrobe with this jumper. The cosy, ribbed knit contains wool for extra warmth and features a flattering V-neck and a modern longline cut. Perfect for chic, comfortable casual wear this season.”

For an alternative style, M&S offers this Cotton Rich Pointelle Scallop Edge Jumper for €30, available in two lovely spring colours. It’s crafted from ‘delicate cotton’ for enhanced comfort, reports the Liverpool Echo.

In the Next reviews for the jumper, one customer commented: “Love this v-neck green jumper – the colour is on trend and vibrant and it is so light and comfy to wear. Sizing is ample and could be sized down based on look preference. I am 6ft tall and went with the recommended size on the chart for my normal clothes size, so a L and it’s just right. The v-neck isn’t too low cut which I really like and it looks great with all cuts/styles of jeans. Happy.”

Another review stated: “Very pleased with this jumper when it arrived, it is better than the picture. Very good value for money and wears and washes very well.”

A third customer wrote: “Love the colour, the fit and softness love it.”

A fourth buyer said: “Love the v-neck baggy sweater. Most oversized jumpers are crew neck. Nice change.”

However, not every shopper was equally impressed with the fit of the jumper. One two-star review said: “I have been wearing this sweater off and on the past couple of weeks and although it is warm and long length, it rides up at the front so that the V is really uncomfortable and tight around your neck.”
