LIMERICK’S LOUISE Cantillon – presenter of How to Gael, and Today FM star – is to return for the fourth season of TG4 travel show Téacs Taistil on Thursday, April 2 at 9.30pm.
The fourth series of Téacs Taistil will feature Louise leading the charge, as well the Kerry Cowboy – Séaghan Ó Súilleabháin, Proinsias Ó Coinn, and Ros na Rún’s Laura Ní hAoidhne.
Welcoming the return to the screen, Louise Cantillon said: “From burlesque clubs in Chicago to crying under the Niagara Falls and dancing along the great walls of Derry, this series sent us on some adventure.”

“Heading stateside leis an gcriú ar fad was a real highlight. The world feels mad these days, but what struck me about making this series is how much craic, kindness and pure character you find when you go looking for it.”
A press release on the show says Louise is known for championing the Irish language in a modern, accessible and entertaining way.
Louise is a former student of the all-Irish speaking Laurel Hill Coláiste. The woman married Limerick hurler Declan Hannon in 2023 – who has won five all-Ireland titles for the county.
The Kilcoran native was also formerly a columnist for the Limerick Leader, and is qualified as an Irish and PE teacher.
TG4 have stated that Louise throws herself into every challenge on the Téacs Taistil with sharp wit, quick humour and fearless curiosity.
The presenter announced prior to the fourth series’ debut: “It’s been the most fun I’ve had making television — totally chaotic, but full of magic moments that had us laughing and crying long after the cameras stopped rolling. Bain súp as.”
