Congratulations are in order for former Coronation Street star Kate Spencer, who has revealed she has welcomed a baby boy with husband Paul Walker. The actor, who played the role of Grace Vickers between 2019 and 2022, confirmed back in October that they were expecting a baby.
Sharing a black-and-white Instagram picture yesterday focusing on the newborn baby’s feet, she announced to her followers: “Baby Zach burst into the world last week and safe to say, we are utterly besotted.
“Life will never be the same again, and for that, we are eternally grateful,” Kate added.

Fans have since sent their congratulations to the star, one writing: “Welcome to the world gorgeous Zach!”
“O my goodness wonderful news, well done you and welcome baby Zach. I hope you’re all doing well,” another added, while a third wrote: “Congratulations to you both. Enjoy the newborn bubble. Thinking of you all.”
Unveiling her pregnancy a few months ago, Kate shared a sweet picture alongside Paul as she held up a baby scan photo by a river.
“19 weeks of loving you, forever to go!” she wrote. “Hugely grateful, blessed and unbelievably excited to be welcoming the next generation of the Walkers into our family in March 2026.”

The couple married four years ago and the actor confirmed the happy news with a series of Instagram Stories messages from friends, as well as a picture of a view outside her childhood bedroom, where she stayed the night before the nuptials.
“Woken up to this beaut on my Wedding Day,” she wrote at the time. “The view from my childhood bedroom window never gets old.”
Upon their engagement the year before, she told followers: “After the Tomahawk steak, before the Tiramisu, and with a coffee in hand, he turned me into an absolute blubbering mess. A million times over, completely and utterly yes.”
