
Waterford Airport.
An extraordinary meeting of the current Waterford Airport company will take place in Waterford city in April, at which it is expected a resolution will be put forward to dissolve the company so new works can commence and commercial flights can resume in summer of next year.
Cllr Declan Barry said an airport meeting took place on Monday, March 23, and the intention is to bring forward a resolution at an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) of shareholders of Waterford Regional Airport Ltd. That EGM is due to take place on Monday, April 20, at 10am in The Tower Hotel.
