All over in the Division 1 decider and it’s an emphatic 13-point victory for Jim McGuinness and Donegal. They extract some revenge for last year’s All-Ireland final defeat. As for Kerry, they looked a shadow of their usual selves.
That flurry of three consecutive goals for Donegal between the 42nd- and 45th-minute effectively sealed the win. Meanwhile, TG4 have nominated Micheal Langan for the man of the match with 0-6 to his name.
It’s worth noting, Donegal only beat Kerry by four points back in early February in Ballyshannon. Today, the margin is much wider but Kerry will undoubtedly bounce back in time for the Championship – perhaps its the shake up they need!
