The draws for the 2026 provincial football championships look set to be moved from their traditional early-to-mid October slot to later this year.
A committee with representation from all four provinces has been looking at ways to add more depth and interest to the draws than they have had in their most recent Saturday afternoon slot when it has been broadcast on RTE’s ‘Saturday Sport.’
