Peter Phillips, Princess Anne’s only son, and his fiancée Harriet Sperling have set their wedding date.
“Mr Peter Phillips, the son of HRH The Princess Royal and Captain Mark Phillips and Ms Harriet Sperling, daughter of the late Mr Rupert Sanders and Mrs Mary Sanders of Gloucestershire, have today announced their wedding date,” read an official announcement shared today. “The summer wedding will take place at All Saints Church, Kemble, Cirencester on Saturday 6th June 2026 in a private ceremony. Both families have been informed jointly of the wedding date by invitation.”
The announcement added, “Their Majesties The King and Queen, The Prince and Princess of Wales have also been informed of the announcement. Further details will be announced in due course.” It’s as yet unclear which members of the royal family will attend the wedding, but it’s likely Phillips’s mom, Princess Anne, and sister, Zara Tindall, will be among the guests.
Last summer, Phillips and Sperling revealed they were engaged after making their public debut as a couple in 2024; the engagement announcement came just a few months after Sperling made her official royal debut in the carriage procession at the 2025 Royal Ascot. Both have been married in the past and have children with former partners: Phillips was previously married to Autumn Kelly (they divorced in 2021) and they share two daughters, Savannah and Isla, and Sperling (née Sanders) has one daughter, Georgia, from a previous marriage.
Phillips’s first wedding took place at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor; Kelly wore Princess Anne’s Festoon Tiara for the occasion. It remains to be seen whether or not Sperling will also borrow a tiara from her royal mother-in-law for her nuptials.
