Seamus died peacefully on 1st of April 2026 under the great care of the staff in University Hospital Galway and also St Mary’s Nursing Home.
Predeceased by his brothers Hughie & Brian sisters Nancy, Rose & Kathleen.
Seamus will be dearly missed by his wife Chrissie, daughters Rosemarie, Christina & Patricia, sister Maureen, son in law Brendan.
He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Roseann, Claire, Ethan, Niall, Aaron, Cathal, Eoghan & Harriet, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
May his gentle soul rest in peace.
Reposing at Sweeney’s Funeral Home (F28 HN81), Achill Sound, Co. Mayo on Sunday, April 5th from 4.00pm until 6.00pm.
Removal from his home in Keel on Monday, April 6th  to St. Patrick’s Church, Pollagh arriving at 11.45 for Mass at 12.00 noon followed by burial in Slievemore cemetery.
House strictly private please.
