Dancer Katie Brown had no idea she was pregnant with her second child until she went into labour.
10 weeks ago, the 27-year-old woke up with intense stomach pain in the middle of the night as she called paramedics for help.
However, when they arrived and were taking her outside, things took an unexpected turn when she delivered her baby son on the street.
Appearing on This Morning on Thursday (April 2), Katie told Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary that she was none the wiser as she was pregnant, as she had been having regular periods throughout.
She explained: “I woke up and I thought I’m having period pains, so I went and got some paracetamol, and then I couldn’t sit down.

“It got to about seven o’clock, and I thought, ‘I can’t do this anymore, I’m going to have to go to A&E’. So, I told my mum, and then my mum came in and thought it was appendicitis.”
Admitting she didn’t think her pains were contractions, as they had no idea she was pregnant, Katie then called the ambulance, which told her they wouldn’t be able to get to her for another four hours.
However, after hearing her in distress, they arrived shortly and turned up at her house at 9:30 in the morning.

She added: “They walked me out on the street and then I dropped to my hands and knees and he was born at twenty to 10. I’m on the street.”
Katie’s mum, who was also on the show, told the presenters she caught her grandson’s head as she saw something coming out of her daughter.
Dermot asked if Katie then realised she was going into labour when this happened, as she confessed: “No, I genuinely thought I was just having a massive poo, I thought something had happened to my bowels.”
Katie explained that this baby, called William, is her second child, so she’s aware of what it feels like to give birth and be pregnant.

The 27-year-old told the presenters that with her daughter, she was showing all the symptoms of a regular pregnancy.
Dr Zoe explained Katie had a cryptic pregnancy, which can happen for a number of reasons. She told Alison and Dermot that Katie was taking the combined oral contraceptive pill, which would cause a withdrawal bleed during her seven-day break.
This Morning is available to watch weekdays on ITV from 10am.
