Parents urge council to back down after state’s largest private creche told to remove unauthorised structures

Building works were done without planning approval but families plead for their retention

Parents whose children attend Ireland’s largest private creche have pleaded with the local council to let the business keep multiple structures that were built without planning permission.

Junior Genius Childcare in Castle­bagot House, west Dublin, was given until March 2, four weeks ago, to remove a series of ­unauthorised building works measuring nearly 600 square metres.
