Dublin restaurants and businesses won big at this year’s Just Eat Awards.

Now in its 12th year, the awards honoured a number of hot-spots in the capital. Dublin favourites Ten10, Mad Egg, Summer Inn, Greenville Deli and Carved named winners, alongside Sano Pizza, who took home the Best Pizza award and the top honour of Independent Restaurant of the Year.

Thousands of people across Ireland cast their votes in this year’s Just Eat Awards. This year’s winners were announced at a special lunch event in Fallon and Byrne in Dublin City.

Summer Inn secured the award for Best Chain. Since opening in Swords in 2014, Summer Inn has become a go-to name in Dublin’s takeaway scene, known for its spice bags and its signature ‘Chicken Wrappo’. They now have locations in Cabra, Ballyfermot, Beaumont, Clondalkin, Finglas and Palmerstown.

Ten10 took home the Best Breakfast & Coffee award for the second year running, thanks to their focus on wholesome, high-quality ingredients at their Santry, Ballygall, Raheny and Tallaght locations.

Mad Egg was named Best Burger & American spot. Founded by Dubs Conor Sheridan and Stephen O’Reilly, Mad Egg has built a cult following for its fried chicken, indulgent burgers and creative sides.

Carved was named Best Lunch. Since opening in Grand Canal Dock, Carved has quickly made its mark with its “sandwiches by chefs” concept that have become very popular with hungry workers in need of a good lunch.

Greenville Deli won Best Healthy & Salads. With multiple locations across Dublin, Greenville has built a loyal following for its made-to-order sandwiches, wholesome salads and quality coffee.

Category winners were selected from a shortlist of over 105 nominees, and in addition to the Independent Restaurant of the Year title won by Sano Pizza, the total list of winners includes:

Best Breakfast & Coffee: Ten10

Best Burger & American: Mad Egg

Best Chain: Summer Inn

Best Chipper: Lennox’s of MacCurtain Street

Best Grocery & Retail: Centra

Best Healthy & Salads: Greenville Deli

Best Indian & Nepalese: Sitar Indian Restaurant & Takeaway

Best Lunch: Carved

Best Mexican: Banditos

Best Middle Eastern: Izz Cafe

Best Pizza: Sano Pizza
