Rumors about what Motorola’s next Razr line could offer keep surfacing, and this time’s no different, as the leaks talk about additional finishes.

Earlier today (Apr 8), tipster OnLeaks, alongside Android Headlines, revealed what Motorola could be planning for the Razr Ultra 2026, and one finish is familiar. Immediately, what’s proposed is that Motorola could return (again) to the wood-grain finish the company brought for the 2025 Razr Ultra. The alleged rendering shows off this wood finish, which appears slightly darker than what we saw last year.

Polished wood bits, as my colleague Namerah Saud Fatmi said in her overall look at the 2025 Razr finishes. It’s these finishes that tend to set Motorola apart from the standard glass backs we’re always getting.

Recent rumors say that it might continue, as the Razr 2026 is allegedly preparing “fabric” and “carbon-fiber” textures, as well as a mysterious third option. Additionally, it seems the Razr 2026 is expected to debut in Hematite, Bright White, Sporting Green, and Violet Ice colorways. The Razr Ultra, much like the base model, isn’t speculated to receive any major design changes. So, that means we’ll likely see its 4-inch cover display and 7-inch inner screen once again, with a horizontal dual camera array on the front.
