Sadie (Sarah) Coffey, (nee Murphy), St. Flannan Street, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Little Barrack Street, Carlow, died peacefully, at home, surrounded by her loving family, on 8th April 2026.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Roger, her parents Molly and Ned Murphy, her brothers Eddie and Sean and her baby sister Anne.
Loving mother of Cora, Elizabeth, Roger, Eamonn, Clare, Mary, John, Michael and Noel.
Sadie will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family, her adored grandchildren Ruairí, Conor and Elizabeth Floyd, Sarah and Emmett Maher, Aisling, Hazel and Hannah Mai Coffey, April and Alison Coffey, Darren and Leigh Clancy, Rachel, Katy and Amy Coffey, Aoife and Ciarán Coffey, Andrew, Maeve and Barry Coffey and great-grandchildren Haley, Ava, Sadie, Tess and Ada, sons-in-law Timmy Floyd, Eddie Maher, Paul McGrath and Tommy O’Brien, daughters-in-law Gráinne Moylan, Christine (Finn), Jackie (Mitchell) and Noreen (O’Brien), Eamonn’s partner Ann Marie, sister-in-law Madge, nieces, nephews, relatives, great neighbours and many friends.
Reposing on Sunday april 12th at Keller’s Funeral Home Nenagh (E45 XO94), from 4pm until 6.30pm. Funeral arriving on Monday to st. Mary of the Rosary Church Nenagh for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in Lisboney Cemetery. The mass can be viewed by clicking on webstream link below.
the family would like to acknowledge the excellent care and attention that Sadie received from her GP Dr. Muiris O’Keeffe and his staff, her carers Claire Fogarty, Mary Fitzpatrick, Teresa O’Meara, Mary, Thaina, Samantha and Niamh, also the staff of Nenagh Hospital, her Palliative Care Nurses Margaret and Hillary and her pharmacist Pierce Finn and his staff.
