A NEW fast food outlet appears to be on the way to Limerick city centre, with signage for Apache Pizza erected at the rear of the former Railway Hotel.

Passers-by noticed the new branding going up on Wednesday, fuelling speculation that the popular takeaway chain is preparing to open at the location.

The premises has seen little activity since the Railway Hotel closed in June 2016 but the appearance of Apache Pizza signage suggests a new commercial use is now imminent.
