Quite honestly, he got right to the point, and I kind of respect that after all these years when I’ve gotten my own hopes up on seeing my version of the Fab Five on stage again. “Do I see anything in the near future? No I don’t,” Joey told ET.Group of male performers on stage in colorful coats, dancing energetically with a dynamic background poster

Joey did confirm that there was a Zoom call with all of the guys, and every member was present — even Justin Timberlake. “All of us were there,” Joey said. “Talking, just talking to each other.”Five people in stylish suits pose together, some with casual stances. But the result of that Zoom call is not what *NSYNC fans would have liked to hear. “Hey do we see anything? Or anything like that? It’s like … no,” he said. “Would I want to do it? Yes. Some of the other guys? I’m sure. Some of the other guys? Maybe not. I can only speak for myself.”Three men pose together, with the central figure wearing a unique jacket with pleats and patterns, flanked by casually dressed companions

When asked whether Justin is the member who’s been holding out on getting the group back together, Joey didn’t deflect. “You’re not wrong in the sense of thinking that,” he told the ET correspondent. “But honestly, it is a group thing. Because I think all of us have that doubt as well.”A musician in sunglasses and a leather jacket performs on stage, smiling at the audience, with a keyboard and microphone in front of them

The moment that really rubbed him the wrong way was when *NSYNC was asked to introduce Justin’s first solo performance at the VMAs that same year.Performer on stage in a dynamic pose, wearing a stylish jacket, fedora, and sunglasses, holding a microphone during a concert

“It is totally fine. But talk to us,” Joey continued. “Have a conversation. Say, ‘Hey, we’re promoting Justin. He has an album out. We’re not here for *NSYNC right now.’ If you would have had that conversation, it would have been a lot easier for me personally.”A male singer performs energetically on stage, surrounded by backup dancers
