As soon as Vinted launched in Ireland, a little over a year ago, Amanda Marques was keen to get signed up. Since then, she reckons she’s made over €1,000 on the second-hand selling platform, most of which has been reinvested in buying more preloved pieces found scrolling on the app.

“I sold a Givenchy horn cap – never worn – for €50,” she smiles, recalling some of her best sells online. “It felt good to pass it on to someone who’ll actually enjoy it because clothes are meant to be loved, not left sitting in our closets.”
