Emmerdale star Bradley Riches has married Scott Johnston in a star-studded ceremony.

The 24-year-old actor – who plays Lewis Barton in the ITV soap – and his partner said “I do” in front of family and friends, including Bradley’s Celebrity Big Brother 2024 co-stars David Potts, Zeze Millz and Marisha Wallace on Wednesday (08.04.26).

Scott has since changed his Instagram username and bio name to Scott Johnston-Riches in an adorable move.

A sweet shot of the couple kissing during the ceremony was posted to the social media platform on Thursday (09.04.26), and the pair captioned the joint post: “Mr + Mr Johnston-Riches 08.04.26.”

Bradley’s Emmerdale co-stars rushed to the sweet upload’s comments section to congratulate him and Scott – who got engaged during a romantic getaway to Sorrento, Italy, in April 2024 after four years of dating.

Lisa Riley, 49, (Mandy Dingle) penned: “We love you so so so so much…can’t wait to celebrate when we are home CONGRATULATIONS you belters (sic).”

Katie Hill, 23, (Sarah Sugden) typed: “Omg can’t cope love you guys congratulations. (sic)”

And Michelle Hardwick, 50, (Vanessa Woodfield) wrote: “Ahhhhh congratulations to you both (sic).”

Celebrities who attended Scott and Bradley’s nuptials included the latter’s Celebrity Big Brother 2024 co-stars, Marisha Wallace, 40, Zeze Millz, 36, and 32-year-old David Potts – who hailed the celebration as “legit the best day”.

David added: “Was unreal celebrating with you! Thank you for letting me be apart of your special day (sic).”

However, the wedding was bittersweet for Bradley after his beloved grandmother died a week beforehand.

On March 31, the Heartstopper alum shared a sweet shot of him as a child with his grandmother to Instagram with an emotional caption: “Never did I think I would be saying goodbye to my Gt. Nanny just days before my wedding.

“Before she passed, she told me she’d be with me on my big day… and I know she will be.

“She loved Scott so much- never questioned us, just loved us fully. I will miss you every day.

“See ya later love you xxx (sic).”

Bradley’s fans expressed their condolences in the post’s comments section.

One supporter wrote: “I’m heartbroken for you all. Sending you and your family so much love and strength.”

A second follower penned: “Oh Bradley. I am so sorry darling. A grandma’s love is second to none, but I am sure she’ll be with you in your heart, no matter what – she will be watching over you and Scott on your wedding day + beaming with pride.

“Sending you + your family lots of love at this time (sic).”

And a third person typed: “So very sorry for your loss.”
