Teachers in Cork are having their images and voices manipulated by students using AI software in an attempt to destroy their reputation, a leading city-based educator has said.

Aaron Wolfe is the principal of Coláiste Éamonn Rís, based in the Deerpark area of the city, and he says that colleagues and their families have been caused untold stress by students who have taken images and voice recordings of their teachers, and then used AI technology to manufacture upsetting content, including fake pornographic content.
