There will be a mix of heavy rain and sunny spells over the course of the next few days as temperatures will also fluctuate between frost and humidity – here’s the full forecast

Met Eireann have forecast mixed conditions for the coming days as sunny spells and heavy rain are expected.
Temperatures will also fluctuate between frosty levels at the beginning of the week to more mild and humid conditions later on.
In their overview for the days ahead, Met Eireann have written: “Mild and humid but remaining unsettled with a mobile southwest flow feeding up rain-bearing cloud.”
Here’s the full forecast for the coming week according to the national forecaster.
Monday 13th April
Dry and bright to start with sunny spells and just isolated showers. Through the morning, cloud will start to increase from the southwest but conditions will stay generally dry for the day across the southern half of the country before light drizzle moves in towards the evening. Further north, showers will be slow to clear, turning heavy at times throughout the day with the chance of hail or isolated thunderstorms. Highest temperatures of 9 to 13 or 14 degrees in light to moderate southerly winds.
Dry and clear to start tonight for most. Cloud will continue to increase with scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle feeding in over Connacht and Munster. Rather chilly with lowest temperatures of 0 to 4 degrees across Ulster, with a chance of frost. Elsewhere temperatures with be slightly milder with lowest temperatures of 3 to 8 degrees. Mist and fog patches will develop too under light to moderate south to south-east breezes.
Tuesday 14th April
Humid and dull on Tuesday. Cloud will spread from the southwest through the morning with scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle. The rain will turn heavy at times through the evening over western counties. Some hill, mist and coastal fog too. Mild but breezy with highest temperatures of 9 to 14 degrees and light to moderate southeast winds, strong and gusty along coasts.
Wet and breezy overnight with widespread rain, heavy at times over southern and western counties. Mild with lowest temperatures of 8 to 10 degrees, in moderate to fresh southerly winds.
Wednesday 15th April
Rain and drizzle will be generally widespread, with heavy falls over southern and western parts early on. Scattered showers will feed in from the Atlantic behind that rain, bringing further heavy falls over southern counties through the afternoon, with the chance of isolated thunderstorms. Feeling mild with highest temperatures of 11 to 16 degrees, in a mostly fresh southwest wind, strong and gusty near coasts.
Scattered showers will continue to feed in off the Atlantic but will gradually become more isolated and confined to western parts overnight. Towards morning clearer spells will develop further east with just isolated showers. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees in moderate to fresh southwest winds, strong on coasts.
Thursday 16th April
Starting off bright and crisp with just isolated showers. Long dry and sunny spells will develop through the day. Into the evening, cloud will increase from the southwest with outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Highest temperatures of 11 to 15 degrees in moderate to fresh southwest winds.
Rain and drizzle will extend to most areas overnight. Scattered showers will follow in behind as the rain clears northeastwards towards morning. Lowest temperatures of 4 to 10 degrees, coldest in the north, with light to moderate south to southeast winds.
Friday 17th April
Generally unsettled for the day with rain and drizzle clearing to the northeast early on. Elsewhere scattered showers and the occasional sunny spell, with some showers turning heavy at times. Highest temperatures of 11 to 15 degrees in mostly moderate south to southwest winds.
