Plans for Greystones Media Campus.

Wicklow Sinn Féin TD John Brady has said he remains “deeply concerned” about the future of the long‑promised Greystones Media Campus, as continuing delays and recent financial difficulties affecting a major international studio owner have added to uncertainty surrounding the project’s delivery.

The proposed development, which was first billed as a €300m film and television studio campus when it was first announced in 2019, was promoted as a potential source for jobs and economic growth in the north Wicklow town, with estimates of up to 1,500 direct and indirect roles. The site, covering roughly 44 acres, is zoned for employment use and is owned by IDA Ireland.
