*The official teaser trailer for “Ice Cream Man” has been released, offering the first look at director Eli Roth’s latest horror feature ahead of its nationwide theatrical debut on August 7.
The film introduces a chilling new story centered on a seemingly peaceful summer town that spirals into chaos after an ice cream vendor begins serving treats with disturbing consequences. The project is not a remake or reimagining of the 1995 film of the same name, but a completely original project from Roth’s creative team, per the news release.
Roth directs the film from a script he co-wrote with Noah Belson. It also marks the first feature under his new banner, The Horror Section, launched in March 2025, with Snoop Dogg contributing original music and Nas serving as executive producer.

The cast includes Ari Millen, Benjamin Byron Davis, Karen Cliche, Dylan Hawco, Sarah Abbott, Shiloh O’Reilly, Kiori Mirza Waldman, Charlie Zeltzer, and Charlie Storey, with Roth also appearing in the film.
Beyond the trailer release, Roth will also appear in Las Vegas to launch CinemaCONE, where fans can engage with a themed activation tied to the film. The event will feature an ice cream truck experience offering exclusive merchandise and photo opportunities.
The activation will take place on Tuesday, April 14, from 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM outside Caesars Palace near Hell’s Kitchen, giving attendees an early immersive look into the film’s world. Roth is scheduled to appear in person from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM.
“Ice Cream Man” is part of Roth’s expanding slate under The Horror Section, which also includes upcoming titles such as “Don’t Go in That House, Bitch!” and “Stiletto,” continuing his push into genre-driven storytelling with major creative collaborators.
