Dexter: Resurrection” Season 2 has cast both Bokeem Woodbine and Nona Parker Johnson in series regular roles, Variety has learned exclusively.

Woodbine and Johnson are the latest additions to the sophomore season of the Paramount+ Premium series. Brian Cox is set to star as Don Framt, also known as the notorious serial killer the New York Ripper, while Dan Stevens will play The Five Boroughs Killer. Uma Thurman is also set to reprise her role as Charley from Season 1.

Johnson will play Fiona Mixon, who is described as “a training officer in the Homicide unit and a nepo-baby in the police world and Harrison’s (Jack Alcott) new love interest.” Woodbine will play Capt. Mixon, said to be “a bulldog of a homicide captain and Fiona’s father.”

Johnson recently starred in shows like “Mayor of Kingstown” at Paramount+, “Fear the Walking Dead” for AMC, and “Law & Order: Organized Crime” at NBC. Her other credits include “The Handmaid’s Tale,” “Them: Covenant,” and “High Potential.”

Woodbine was previously nominated for an Emmy for playing Mike Milligan in the FX anthology series “Fargo.” His other TV roles include “Underground,” “Halo,” and “Wu-Tang: An American Saga,” while his film roles include “Ray,” “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” and “Crooklyn.” He is set to appear in the “Barbershop” TV series currently in the works at Amazon Prime Video.

Johnson is repped by CESD, M88, and Del Shaw Moonves. Woodbine is repped by Gersh and Jackoway Austen Tyerman.

“Dexter: Resurrection” was developed by original series helmer Clyde Phillips, who also serves as showrunner and executive producer on the new series. Series star Michael C. Hall executive produces in addition to starring. Scott Reynolds, Marcos Siega, Tony Hernandez, and Lilly Burns executive produce along with John Goldwyn and Sara Colleton, Veronica West, Kirsa Rein, and Tanner Bean & Katrina Mathewson. The series is produced by Paramount Television Studios and Counterpart Studios.
