There is an idea in environmental psychology that suggests you can understand a person more quickly by walking through their home than by sitting across from them in conversation.
Dermot Bannon and I meet at the InterContinental Hotel in Ballsbridge, Dublin, so unfortunately I’m not going to get to size him up through the prism of his own soft furnishing choices. But he thinks its an interesting idea.
