Coronation Street spoilers follow from Sunday’s episode (19 April), which is available to watch now on ITVX and YouTube but hasn’t aired on ITV1 yet.

Coronation Street airs a major change in Will Driscoll and Megan Walsh’s ongoing storyline tonight. Viewers know that Megan has been grooming her student Will, with her crimes coming to light last month thanks to Sam Blakeman.

Megan was taken into custody and questioned by police, but she is yet to be charged with any crime.

The Driscolls and the police have had trouble finding any evidence against Megan, with Will maintaining that nothing happened between them.

Tonight, Kit tells Ben, Eva and Maggie, that the CPS will likely drop the case against Megan due to a lack of evidence.

Will overhears the news and meets up with Megan to tell her that they’re close to dropping the investigation. Megan is relieved, while Will is looking forward to the pair running away together to Paris.

Megan assures Will she’s booked their tickets, and the teen gives her a copy of The Lovers Guide to Paris ahead of their trip.

While Megan seems touched by the gift, as soon as Will is out of sight, she dumps it in a bin.
